3 Nov 2011 Day2 THONG SON--PRACHUAP--KANCHANABURI
Riding a motorcycle every day might actually keep your brain functioning at peak condition. The study showed that riders between the age of 40 and 50 were shown to improve their levels of cognitive functioning, compared to a control group.. So and so...we jumped starting our morning after having good breakfast in Thong Son.

Cheap, reasonable and delicious food |
From Pethaburi toward Bangkok.. All hotels were fully booked.... When we stopped to refuel/rest we found all grocery stores at petrol stations had depleted their stocks and it was difficult to find... Mineral water.
Halfway we were trying to make a shortcut to Kanchanaburi through sugar cane plantation as we wanted to reach there early and almost lost as Garmin GPs ran out of road. Once we reached Kanchanaburi around 6pm since it's still early then.. The River Kwai Bridge was a must go place here. There also a lot of nice, cheap and beautiful hotels around the river bank.

Later at night, we headed out to explore the Kanchanaburi town and to get some news regarding the flood in central Thailand and planned the safest route tomorrow as we're going through the affected area, not much.... Yeah about time for bed, good night.
