BIKER FRIENDS: Will spend hours there, talking, laughing and just being together.
I'm on Honda Varadero and together with a buddy on Kawasaki Versys. Both of us are new rider... And this was our first ride in a group.
Day 1 1st May 2009
Sungai Petani--Grik--Machang--Kuala Terengganu
Could not sleep last night... Too excited.
It was a cracking day, one of those days to look back on with a smile.. When we arrived at randevou point (Petronas KualaKetil), most of SPCT's members already there. Some of them riding sport, easy rider, touring and dual purpose bike, and a car as a support vehicle.. Awesome people.
We hit the road shortly after that... Quite organized and quiet ride. We ride in close convoy formation with a few people doing the marshaling.. Both of us found ourselves in the middle of the convoy. We've done around 100-120km/h and to reach 140km/h was an achievement.

After having lunch, we continued our ride to Kuala Terengganu using beautiful and calm coastal road through fisherman village.. Penarik, we stopped for a snack here... Famous Keropok lekor and deep fried calamari.
The convoy arrived safely.... In late evening at Kuala Terengganu

Nasi Dagang and keropok losong in the early morning were mesmerizing with kopi O and lust ocean smell.
Informal invitation for a lunch at one of KT biker's houses and Terengganu bike festival.

Kuala Berang--Gua Musang--Cameron Highlands--Sungai Petani
Cold morning in Kuala Berang after heavy rain last night. After having breakfast, we stopped at a hydroelectric dam ... Enjoyed the beautiful panoramic view of the lake.

Once... We reach Plus Highway after a short stop at R&R Semanggol..., the weather turned ugly with torrential rain. The convoy had split up into little groups and two of us tried to regrouping with other in front. Suddenly there was pandemonium in front with car braking.., saw a few bikers in front skidded and collided into each other. I could feel the Honda C- ABS is functioning perfectly.. Managed to stop the motorcycle safely. It happened because the car slid and hit the guardrail on the fast lane.
No major injuries to the rider and CBR600 take the most damage.Safely back home around 2am in the heavy rain.
Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't.
